Phil joined the commercial team at Broughton in 2017 from a privately owned oil company where he held laboratory and technical positions before his transition to site QA/QC Manager.

• 13+ years’ experience across the Pharmaceutical, Forensic, Oil, and Software sectors. He has spent the past 5 years helping startups, investors, and established brands to capitalise on the considerable route-to-market opportunities, both medicinal and consumer, that are available to them across the Nicotine, Cannabinoids, and Pharmaceutical industries.
• Responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients across all focus areas at Broughton, whilst also helping to develop service offerings aligned with market and client requirements enabling both existing and new partnerships to thrive.
• Passionate about growing our business with culturally aligned people who share similar visions and missions.

His educational background includes a BSc (Hons) in Forensic Science. Phil began his career as a chemist in the pharmaceutical sector before moving into forensics where he worked as a Forensic Examiner in the Evidence Recovery Unit (ERU) for Sexual Offences and Sexually Motivated Crime, and then onto his roles in the Oil and Lubricants industry.

As a proactive and action driven professional, Phil is recognised for his role in supporting our global clients achieve their business objectives through his consultative approach. 

Serving as the commercial lead on various projects, he has significant sales and account management experience acquired through the onboarding of high revenue projects and successful and effective management of key accounts. He demonstrates an unwavering commitment to customer service and expansion of the client base whilst maintaining premium service levels with existing accounts. His proven interpersonal skills and untold levels of enthusiasm ensures mutually advantageous relationships and beneficial outcomes for all.
