Peter Dodgeon is an experienced senior executive with an international career spanning the chemical, oil services and advanced manufacturing sectors. As Managing Director of Broughton, he provides strategic leadership, guiding the organisation’s long-term direction while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory integrity and sustainable growth.

With a background grounded in science, Peter began his career at Baker Petrolite, a global chemical services company. He progressed through technical and operational roles, delivering specialist chemistry expertise and solving complex industrial challenges for clients worldwide. This scientific foundation continues to inform his leadership approach, combining technical understanding with commercial discipline.

Peter has held senior leadership roles across Asia Pacific, Europe and the UK, successfully leading complex, multi-market organisations. His experience includes supporting the North Sea oil industry with Baker Hughes, leading the company’s re-entry into the Indonesian production chemicals market as Country Manager, and expanding Clariant’s oil services footprint across Asia Pacific as Head of Oil Services, China and Business Development, Asia Pacific and later as Vice President for the region.

After returning to the UK, Peter further broadened his industrial perspective through senior roles in engineering and steel manufacturing, strengthening his expertise in operational transformation, governance and performance improvement.
