Nicola earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology from the University of Cardiff and has since accumulated more than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as in cutting-edge nicotine-related products, fulfilling various technical and project management roles.
Nicola started her career at Ipsen Biopharm, where she gained experience in R&D working on primary packaging selection for new parenteral products, led stability studies for bulk and finished drug products and managed the development and validation of analytical methods. After 7 years at Ipsen Nicola joined Catalent Pharma Solutions where she managed the design, packaging and global distribution of clinical trial kits for small-scale and large multi-national pharmaceutical companies. Nicola then went on to work for Nerudia and Imperial Brands where she led large-scale regulatory programmes, most notably the Pre-Market Tobacco Application (PMTA) programme for the Imperial Brands portfolio of products.
Within the Broughton organisation, Nicola leads a capable team of experienced Project Managers supported by a robust technical knowledge base. This team excels in precise project planning, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery whilst maintaining stringent quality standards. Broughton provides comprehensive project management services, covering everything from initial product design to global regulatory notifications and submissions.
