Luke graduated with a first-class degree in BSc (Hons) Biology and Chemistry and decided to use his passion for science and interpersonal skills to move directly into a commercial-based position.
Luke was a scientific recruiter for over 3 years at a leading analytical chemistry agency working closely with talented individuals from the pharmaceutical industry discussing their skills on various analytical instrumentation. He even recruited several individuals for Broughton!
Luke then transitioned to Business Development at a global CRO focusing on setting up new business areas for the company by speaking to key opinion leaders from around the globe
He then moved to a small start up to head up the sales & marketing function before coming back to his passion of services by joining the growing Broughton Pharma business.
Luke’s role predominately focuses on the pharmaceutical testing side of Broughton Group and helps companies get products to market whether that be complex development & validation, long term stability, and high throughput batch release projects amongst others.
